At HighTechNews, we provide digital products, downloadable resources, templates, eBooks, guides, research documents, and other educational materials. Since these products are delivered digitally and can be accessed or downloaded instantly, our refund and cancellation terms are different from physical products.

Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Nature of Digital Products

All products sold on HighTechNews are digital products. These may include, but are not limited to:

  • eBooks
  • PDF guides
  • Research documents
  • Business roadmaps
  • Canva templates
  • Prompt packs
  • Digital toolkits
  • Downloadable files and resources

Because digital products are delivered instantly and cannot be “returned” like physical goods, refunds are limited and subject to the conditions below.

2. No Refund on Successfully Delivered Digital Products

Once a digital product has been successfully purchased, delivered, downloaded, or accessed, the order is generally non-refundable and non-cancellable.

This is because digital files can be copied, stored, or used immediately after delivery.

Therefore, all sales are final unless there is a genuine technical issue or duplicate payment as described in this policy.

3. Refund Eligibility

A refund may be considered only in the following cases:

(a) Duplicate Payment

If you were charged more than once for the same product due to a payment error, we may issue a refund for the duplicate transaction after verification.

(b) Product Not Delivered

If payment was completed successfully but:

  • you did not receive the download link, or
  • the product was not delivered to your email/account, or
  • the access page did not open due to a system issue,

then please contact us within 7 days of purchase. We will first attempt to resolve the issue by re-sending the file or restoring access. If we are unable to provide the purchased product, a refund may be considered.

(c) Corrupted or Unusable File

If the file delivered is corrupted, broken, or technically unusable, and we are unable to provide a working replacement within a reasonable time, a refund may be considered.

4. Refunds Will Not Be Provided In These Cases

Refunds will not be granted in the following situations:

  • You changed your mind after purchase
  • You purchased by mistake but the product was already delivered
  • You did not read the product description before buying
  • You expected features, content, or results that were not specifically mentioned on the product page
  • You no longer need the product
  • You are unable to use the file because of lack of required software, internet, or technical knowledge
  • You downloaded/accessed the digital product and later requested cancellation
  • Dissatisfaction based on personal preference after delivery, where the product matches the description provided

5. Cancellation Policy

Since digital products are often delivered instantly after payment, cancellation is generally not possible once the order is placed and processed.

If your payment is still pending or the order has not been fulfilled due to a technical issue, you may contact us for support.

6. How to Request Support or Refund Review

If you believe your case qualifies under this policy, please contact us with the following details:

  • Full Name
  • Order ID / Transaction ID
  • Product Name
  • Date of Purchase
  • Payment Screenshot / Proof of Payment
  • Description of the issue

Please send your request within 7 days of purchase. Requests submitted after this period may not be eligible for review.

7. Refund Review Process

Once we receive your request:

  1. We will review the order details and payment information.
  2. We may ask for additional proof or screenshots.
  3. We will first try to resolve the issue by re-sending the product, restoring access, or replacing the file.
  4. If the issue cannot be resolved and the case qualifies under this policy, an approved refund will be processed.

8. Refund Processing Time

If a refund is approved, it will generally be processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method, depending on the payment gateway, bank, or financial institution.

HighTechNews is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or third-party processors after the refund has been initiated.

9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, we request that you contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue quickly and fairly.

Fraudulent refund claims, abuse of chargebacks, or misuse of downloadable products may lead to refusal of future service or access restrictions.
